hawk.math.vec(*components)

Build a rank-1 value from scalar components: both vec(a, b, c) and vec([a, b, c]) work, the second being what a static comprehension evaluates to. A single list argument is the components; anything else is taken positionally, so vec(x) is still the width-1 vector, not a mis-read singleton.
